The modeling of compact band-pass filter with quarter-wave sections on thin complex metal resonant diaphragms with an aperture in the form of a rectangular window with two asymmetrical L shaped ridges in a rectangular waveguide is considered. The investigation of parameters of thin complex resonant diaphragms from their geometrical dimensions is provided. It is established that the transient characteristic of such diaphragms contains besides a resonance also the anti-resonance which frequency is higher than resonance frequency. Such property allows providing at design of the band-pass filter a high stop-band attenuation level. The cut-off wave numbers and components of electromagnetic fields of a complex aperture are calculated by a method of partial regions including electromagnetic field singularities on metal edges. The results of synthesis of the narrow-band band-pass filter on three resonant diaphragms which longitudinal size makes a half of working wavelength in a waveguide are presented. The approximation of amplitude-frequency characteristics was carried out by Tchebyshev polynomials.
