In article ray tracing questions are considered in case of calculation of an electromagnetic field in ray approximation. The main operations in this direction are considered. The short characteristic of the Shooting and Bouncing Ray (SBR) model is this. The lack of its program implementations is shown. The alternative model of ray tracing on the plane hindrances, using the analytical decisions received by means of analytical geometry is offered. The model allows to avoid the excess computation provided by the SBR method and, therefore, to reduce costs of time of the solution of tasks. Algorithms of ray tracing after reflection and diffraction are received and explained.
