There is a need to determinate centers in received informative regions that exists in application tasks solving.
The authors had described the method of searching significant areas which includes obtained in the visible spectrum image distortions and estimation of accuracy of known methods of localization accomplishment.
Have been selected a method of seeking the centers of informative regions in the context of the problem of thermal imaging signature analysis, based on the criteria of accuracy and computational cost.
The results allow to fulfill selection of informative features for both conventional and thermal images with the greatest accuracy, with minimal computational cost.
