Grouping air objects with accounting for uncertainty in their parameters

These days threshold criterion is used to detect interacting groups of air objects. Given criterion is sensitive to random fluctuations of estimating characteristics near given threshold. It doesn’t allow using distance between objects as index of proximity and single coordinates have high influence on final result. There are no methods to explicitly represent uncertainty in grouping which occurs on account of mistakes in estimation of coordinates. In this paper generalized index of proximity based on weighted sum of squares of differences between relative coordinates in the form of intervals is proposed. Air objects can belong to “Possible group”, “Reliable group” or have no interaction.
