Equivalence of two radiation pattern reconstruction methods from measurements on a sphere in Fresnel region

Two methods of radiation pattern reconstruction from amplitude and phase measurements on a sphere in Fresnel region are considered: method based on integration of Fresnel field and method based on Fourier series expansion of phase exponential. The latter allows to decrease the amount of measurements due to larger spacing between field samples, compared to the former. However, in the former method, spacing can also be increased by taking into account the property of limited spatial bandwidth of the field and representing Fresnel field according to the sampling theorem. Also, the representation of the radiation pattern obtained with this approach coincides with the representation in the method based on Fourier series expansion of phase exponential.
