Experimental study of the level of uneven heating of dielectric materials and the absorbed power in the microwave resonator-type devices

In this paper described a method of experimental study of the basic parameters of the process of heating a dielectric materials in microwave ovens with multislit excitation system of the electromagnetic field. This method allows you to determine the level of uniformity of heating and microwave power absorbed by the sample, that is, to evaluate the quality of heat treatment of the finished product and the efficiency of the installation. Shows a series of «cold» (at low power levels) and dynamic (at high power levels Pin = 900 W) measurements, and the «cold» measurements allow us to determine the level of microwave power absorbed by the sample, that is, the efficiency of the plant and the average temperature of the sample. Non-uniformity of heating can only be determined in a dynamic mode. Conduct these experimental research to optimize the multislit excitation system and extend the functionality of microwave systems.
