Effect of increase in level of the electromagnetic field over the tectonic faults

The new scientific direction of radiophysics – seismoelectromagnetism, wich including propagation of seismoelectromagnetic issues to the VLF-HF is actively developed in the world nowadays. In article results of modeling of propagation of a terrestrial wave over tectonic faults in VLF-VHF ranges and the data of measurements of a natural electromagnetic field over a tectonic fault in VLF a range are considered. As a rule, the geoelectric model of a fault represents, as a rule, a linear zone of high conductivity with sharply outlined borders. The calculations passed by a method of the numerical decision of the integrated equation of Hafford in a range of frequencies 1 – 20 MHz for a five-piecewise modeling line with two tectonic faults in width of 1 km, have shown strongly pronounced effect of «restoration» of the a field over zones of faults. Calculations in a range 2 – 1000 kHz for a five-piecewise modeling line with width of a zone of a fault 10 km also have shown strongly pronounced effect of «restoration» of a field over a tectonic fault. Measurements of a natural electromagnetic field are spent on a fault of «Sazhennaja» (near to Ulan-Ude) by means of multichannel geophysical registrator MGR-01. As a result of measurements magnetic components of a natural field in two directions of reception «north-south» and «west – east» is established the raised level casual VLF-impuls a stream over a tectonic fault. Simultaneously at base station «Verhneaya Berezovka» in suburb of Ulan-Ude by means of stationary complete set MGR-01 was registered also the magnetic component of a natural field. By comparison of simultaneous measurements it was revealed that the increase in numbers of the impulses over a tectonic fault of «Sazhennaja» makes tens and hundreds times. From experimental data and results of modeling follows that over a tectonic fault the effect of «restoration» of a field of type «land-sea» takes place. The raised level of an electromagnetic field observed in zones of faults is it explaince as the radiation from a tectonic fault out as the result of increase in level of an electromagnetic field over the more spending tectonic fault. Attraction of special attention to zones of tectonic fauls has important practical application in the area seismoelectromagnetizm and electromagnetic ecology.
