In work the main characteristics of a multidimensional high-frequency radio channel are analyzed. The analysis of propagation of high-frequency (HF) of radio signals in the multidimensional ionospheric channel is submitted. The technique of determination of delay spread and bandwidth parameters of multidimensional HF radio channel according to panoramic oblique sounding by continuous chirp signal is advanced. The results of the full-scale experiments which have shown that for radio lines 70 km and 3,5 thousand km are given: the delay spread in the multidimensional channel averages 2,4 ms and 3,5 ms; bandwidth for the radio line 3,5 thousand km long summer's day can make 21 MHz, and at night in the winter  3 MHz in the afternoon; for the route 70 km long the strip for the same conditions varies from 2 MHz to 6 MHz. It is concluded that use of the developed techniques in modern high-frequency radio communication systems will allow to coordinate in an adaptive mode their information technical characteristics with the basic parameters of a multidimensional channel, improving quality and providing the greatest possible duration of communication.
