Features of the antenna module destined for mobile satellite communication system

The results of the design, manufacturing and testing of the antenna module destined for mobile satellite communication system, mounted on the airborne vehicle and providing two-way communication in extended Ku-band are presented. This communication system provides a link with a ground satellite station at all stages: on the ground at the runway, during takeoff and landing, as well as during the flight including intensive evolutions of the aircraft in roll, pitch and jaw. Basic technical parameters are described, and the solutions that are implemented are proved.
