UAV landing system

Non-radiating unmanned aero vehicle landing system technical proposal presented. Landing system uses UAV transmitter to determine exact spatial position with correlation-phase method. Transmitter generate signal modulated telemetry information including GPS/GLONASS coordinate, 1pps data, which uses as additional positioning system. Transmitter power should be less than 1 watt for 20 kilometers range of the landing system. Direction estimation error less than 0,1 degree, range estimates with two spatially separated receivers (distance between receivers 20–40 meters) with error less than 2 meters. Additional range estimation may be achieved with 1pps signal, transmitted from UAV. Estimation errors calculated with computer modeling with statistical averaging.
