The maximum likelihood estimations of coordinates of radiator on a spherical surface are synthesized allying to multiposition direction finding. A method is proposed for calculation of bearing to a point on sphere. The method is based on projection of the sphere onto tangential plane touching the sphere at direction finder\\\'s location, and evaluating of radial ray direction. The analytical relations are provided for the direct projection «sphere – plane» and reverse «plane – sphere» as well as for estimation of potential accuracy using Cramer\\\'s rule to the results of the projection centered at the true origin. The results of the simulation are sown.
