The paper contains a comparative assessment of the radiation flow for direct and scattered radiation depending on the optical thickness of the atmosphere. Quantitative estimates of the total transmission for zenith angles from 0 to 60º and optical thickness from fractions of a unit up to 100 are presented. It is shown that the maximum values of the transmission can reach two or more units at optical thickness of the atmosphere from 1 to 5 units, and the minimum values do not fall below 0.01 units at ≤ 60.
