Magnetostatic surface spin-wave (MSSW) propagation through the one-dimensional (1D) magnonic crystal (MC) with defects of periodic lattice on base of an yttrium iron garnet (YIG) film was experimentally studied. The localized defect modes (DM) appearance within the magnonic bandgaps of MSSW spectrum is detected. It was shown, that appearance of DM depend on the ratio between the width of defect and period of lattice of MC.
