The wide spread method for power control of lighting sources is the phase control. But this method is not applicable for individual control of lighting sources. The paper proposes a width modulation information encoding method for communication power wires, which is based on the principle of modulating the initial angle of half-cycle voltage. Format of a batch and a single error correction algorithm for the transmission of information is offered and described.
The proposed encoding algorithm is implemented in system «FORA – SPI», based on the patent 99913 (Russia) for developing the lighting systems with individual control of lighting sources via power wires.
