This article defined the main directions of the structure and algorithms optimization in digital antenna arrays, including the selection and parametric optimization of schematic and technologic decisions of radio receivers, types and mode of ADCs, methods and algorithms for spatial signal processing and digital beamforming, architecture of beamforming multiprocessor hardware, processor and software elements of the digital antenna arrays. In the article proposed the examples of construction the 20-beams receiver HF band and 5-beams receiver CM range digital antenna arrays which essentially increased the effectivness of antenna arrays. As a tool for optimizing and evaluating the effectiveness of decisions used the numerical electrodynamic simulation of the use of software and hardware simulation model of the digital antenna arrays.
