Features of elemental composition thyroid gland in nodular (multinodular) colloid goiter

This paper is devoted to the study of the elemental composition thyroid gland in nodular (multinodular) colloid euthyroid goiter. As a diagnostic biological media have been used samples of thyroid tissue (colloidal assemblies and perinodular thyroid tissue) obtained during the execution of hemi-or total thyroidectomy. Using the method of mass spectrometry and atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled argon plasma is investigated by the contents of 25 chemical elements in the colloidal perinodular nodes and thyroid tissue. For the first time obtained data on the characteristics of the elemental composition thyroid gland in nodular (multinodular) colloid goiter. There was a significant direct correlation with the colloidal elemental study of knots thyroid gland for the I and Zn at p <0.05 and p <0.01, respectively. Revealed a high level of content of Ca, P, Mn, Pb, and Sr in the colloid thyroid gland nodes. At the same time were have lower value of the content of Na, Cu, Se, Al and Si.
