Management of science intensive product competitiveness

If a scientific and industrial corporation recently tends to maximal profit as to the main goal of its economic activity, it is unlikely, that the goal can be attained by leading on the market due to both technological superiority of products and relatively low prices. The following principles of effective competitiveness management are substantiated in the issue: output of advanced and innovative products superior by their functional characteristics, full, complex and effective use of innovative technological solutions, deep penetration of modern information processing systems into the routine practice of the corporation. As far as the competition takes place not only between final products, but between ideas, solutions, projects, technologies, that are implemented on different stages of the life cycle, the competitiveness management should coordinate all processes involved in creation of the competing products. The following main phases of strategic management are considered in the issue applied to introducing of advanced technologies: analysis of the state of the managed object, elaboration of the strategy, design of a well-balanced system of indicators, strategic planning, monitoring of the state of managed object and of progress of the strategic plans. Implementation of the state monitoring for the managed object requires a corresponding information support, including use of modern computer technologies and, first of all, automated integrated control systems.
