The present paper is concerned with the issues of processing telemetry and trajectory measurements obtained as a result of complex systems functioning. We illustrate the concept “complex systems” with the help of complex dynamic objects. The methods of processing that are introduced in the following are based on the most advanced and adaptive techniques in the areas of time-frequency analysis, wavelet theory, and other adaptive approaches. Special attention is drawn to the problem of signal preprocessing, which is crucial in practice. Classification is performed on the basis of special complexity measures and fractal features (Hurst parameter). The complex approach introduced in this paper is also promising for the analysis of multidimensional measurement signals.
