A survey of perspective usage approaches of ontologies and ontological engineering in studying process is presented. Examples of ontologies implementation in different intelligent tutoring systems are given. Experience of development and application in studying process of NRNU MEPhI courses/disciplines ontologies for «Intelligent systems and technologies» specialization is described. Characterization of instrumental tools for ontologies design support in integrated expert systems is considered. Ontologies are implemented on the basis of instrumental tools of subsystem for tutoring integrated systems development support (third generation of AT-TECHNOLOGY workbench).
