In pediatric trauma CITO from 1994 to 2009 he treated 39 patients with posttraumatic defect of the lower limbs, at the age of 6 to 18 years. Was carried out 108 operations. The defect size ranged from 3.0 limbs to 14.0 cm Patients allocated to our two clinical groups: 1. With sharp defects of long bones of the lower extremity - 11 patients. 2. Defects in old - 28 patients. For each group conducted a differentiated treatment. The most promising way to treat bone defects believe bilocal osteosynthesis, with a combination of illustrated cases with bone or autologous alloplastica. At all stages of rehabilitation therapy treatment was carried out.
In a group of acute injuries was aimed at the restoration of all damaged structures in the shortest possible time. In group 2 was carried out multistage treatment: 1. full restoration of the skin 2. restoration of bone structure, using various types of bone grafting, and 3. restoration of limb function - neyroplastiki, tendon-muscle plastic, etc. This complex of differential treatment of posttraumatic defects of the lower limbs in children and adolescents and to monitor the process of ossification of the regenerate bone has yielded promising results for treating this group of patients
